Construction Manager
Department: Real Estate/Construction
Reports To: VP of Real Estate
Location: Company Headquarters in Stamford, CT
Overview: Manages, oversees, drives and ensures the timely execution of new, remodel, and relocation of all assigned projects in support of the Vineyard Vines programs. Has thorough knowledge of the construction industry, management of General Contractors, required 3rd party Vendors and Suppliers. Has experience with bid qualification, Master Scheduling, Construction Schedules, Budget Oversight and Management. Displays a passion and optimism in their role and has an entrepreneurial personality. The CM is self confident, decisive, is collaborative and builds relationships. Displays excellent ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external business partners.
Functions & Responsibilities:· Manage individual strategy and tactical execution as required by the assigned client · Oversees the management of the project Construction Budgets, Forecasts, Actual expenditures and Change Orders · Responsible for travel management in support of project assignments and communicating calendar updates · Manages travel schedules and ensures alignment with Vineyard Vines team and maximizes efficiencies when possible · Serves as a mentor for providing coaching and career development to other team members, when appropriate · Manages the construction process and client program to continually improve quality, service and to help enhance our clients' customer experience · Participation in the performance evaluation of General Contractors and business partners · Participation in the weekly status call with Vineyard Vines team to provide program updates and to align business processes/protocols · Participation in any required status calls · Proactive resolution to field issues, customer concerns and conflicts · Timely communication of issues to Vineyard Vines leadership and Business partner point of contact, as required to support the project and business partner relationship · Supports Vineyard Vines team members as required; site visits, follow up, mentoring, etc
