When we started vineyard vines, we had no idea what we were doing. We were just two brothers with a bunch of ties and a crazy dream. And no matter how much this company grows, how many stores we open up or how many whale stickers we see, we’ll never forget the days when we were sleeping at our desks, boxing up orders, hand-delivering ties and doing everything else that small businesses do to survive. And we’ll never forget the support we received that helped us get to where we are today.
We’re not breaking any news when we say that 2020 was a hard year. But for many businesses out there 2020 wasn’t just hard, it was the final chapter. All over the country, small businesses are struggling to make ends meet and stay afloat. And we’re going to help.
We have been partners with Barstool Sports since 2019. Recently, Barstool’s founder, Dave Portnoy, launched The Barstool Fund, a donation-driven charitable organization that is helping small businesses affected by COVID-19. So far they’ve raised over $23 million (and counting), and by the time you read this, they will have raised $100K more from us.
Please join us in helping the small business community. Tell your friends about the Fund, post about it on your social channels, and if you can, make a donation. We built this company one tie and one customer at a time, and we know the big difference that small gestures can make.
