Team VV - John and Molly Baxter June 6, 2008

We are pleased to report that Team VV just won the US Team Race Association’s Midwinter Championship hosted in Jensen Beach, FL from January 3-5th, 2009. There were 132 competitors this year and we only lost two races throughout the three day event, with a final record of 28 wins – 2 losses. In this format of team racing, we had three two-person boats (Vanguard 15’s) on each team. All three boats had the Vineyard Vines text on our mainsails and pink whales on the jibs. Touchdown! Our NFL Collection is here. January 9, 2009

Who says there are no ties in football? With the playoffs in full swing, we¹re getting into the game with the launch of our new NFL Collection. Our first batch of officially licensed products are now online and in vineyard vines stores, including those from a few teams that still have the Super Bowl in their sights. As for the rest, they won¹t be on the sidelines for long. So stay tuned, there are more teams and more products (belts, totes and maybe even a few wild cards) to come.

Nantucket Race Week August 4, 2008

We were proud to sponsor Nantucket Race Week for the fourth year. Race Week, which benefits Nantucket Community Sailing, is famous for its Rainbow Fleet Parade and the Opera House Cup. Beautiful boats, great racing and teaching future generations to sail and appreciate the water – you can’t beat that. You probably saw the whale heads roaming the island!

Flip Flop Regatta August 8, 2008

For the 3rd year we were sponsoring the Flip Flop Regatta, a PHRF sailing event held in Boston Harbor to benefit The ALLY Foundation (theallyfoundation.org), an organization dedicated to preventing sexual offenses. This year's event is expected to draw over 75 boats to the pursuit race and over 1,500 people to the Mount Gay Rum tent party. So throw on your flip flops and swing on by.

The Jimmy Fund Fishing Tournament August 8, 2008

We’ve thrown our support behind the Joe Cronin Memorial Jimmy Fund Fishing Tournament for the past three summers. This year we can’t wait to throw our lines in the water, catch a ton of bluefish and help raise money for cancer research. For us, it's a win-win, we get to fish and help people at the same time. Nantucket Comedy Festival July 28, 2008

When we first heard about the Nantucket Comedy Festival we got a big smile on our face. Then we decided we had to find a way to get involved. The newly formed, weeklong festival will consist of great comedy and family activities while supporting local charities.

Virginia Gold Cup April 28, 2008

We were thrilled to add the Virginia Gold Cup to our spring steeplechase schedule this past April, serving as the official "What to Wear" sponsor - from the pictures it's pretty easy to tell that "what to wear" was vineyard vines®.
