Welcome Aboard!

Thayer Whipple has a story tailor-made for the pages of a vineyard vines® catalog. She grew up on the Vineyard and moved to the big city after college to follow her dreams of working in fashion PR. She worked hard to make a name for herself, just to realize the keys to the Good Life (and to her dad's 1955 cherry red Thunderbird) were back in the place where it all began, the Vineyard. Sound familiar?

Now that she's traded the honking horns and traffic lights for sandy beaches and blue skies, she's made up for lost time by fully throwing herself back into the community. Using the skills she acquired working for big-name clients on the mainland, she's helping our favorite island organization, Sail MV, run their events like pros. With normal business hours that she thought didn't even exist anymore, she's thinking about getting back into her pre-PR passion, interior design, and has even found time to settle down with someone else who helps make the island a better place, too-one of the Edgartown Police Department's finest. Thayer is living her life the way most people only dream of. And we've just got to hand it to her. All in all, it's been quite a homecoming.
