Welcome Aboard!

When Karen McClellan graduated from college, she wasn't exactly sure what she wanted to do for a living, but she knew she definitely wanted to do some more living first. So she decided to take a year off, parlaying several summers' worth of exprience as a sailing instructor in New England into a full-time gig in the BVI. Surrounded by fair winds and blue skies, it should come as no surprise that three years passed before she returned stateside.

Looking to maintain the lifestyle she'd come to love, she joined the vineyard vines® team shortly thereafter. Though she's traded in her sails for sales, you'll rarely find her stuck behind a desk. Since coming aboard, she's spent time back on campus helping out with our college tour, as well as in our stores where she likes to swap stories about her days out on the water.

Karen's been making new memories too, showing us the ropes at her old stomping ground, The Bitter End Yacht Club. As for realizing what to do with her life…we think she's got it all figured out.
