When we sat down with the Mitchell Family, owners of the legendary ‘Richards’ in Greenwich, and told them about our desire to one day open a vineyard vines® store that combined the best of both worlds, theirs and ours, it didn’t take long to know we were on to something special.

vineyard vines® by Richard's opened its doors at 145 Greenwich Avenue. In a unique partnership with Richards, the store provides customers with the ultimate ‘Good Life’ experience, topped off by Richards’ famous customer service. Situated in Shep and Ian’s proverbial backyard, it includes a few personal touches to make it feel just like home. Teak and holly cabinets, copper light fixtures and white bead board walls set the scene, but the 16 ft. half hull, custom-built sailboat section, and full-size bar steal the show. Expect to find store exclusives side-by-side with historic relics from vineyard vines' past. And whether you're shopping around or just hanging out, don’t be surprised if you see two brothers from Greenwich just stopping by to say hello. Stop in and see us!

Greenwich Store Grand Opening Party

On Wednesday, September 28, 2006 Shep and Ian opened up the doors to their very own store in their hometown of Greenwich. A celebration was held to commemorate the occasion filled with food, friends, and live music.
