I purchased these online for my son who is 7 1/2 and wears an 8 in most brands. He is tall and thin and the 8's were HUGE and there are no buttons to cinch the waist in. They were also WAY long. Ordered him an 8 in the Blue Blazer and that was too small so I know he is a true 8. Just ordered a kids 7 - hope these fit better.
